| well i just got mine from ebay today . It is in english as well as the manual. I plugged in my at&t chip and was able to make a call easily. I am in the military and am using it on deployment. I will be using the go-sim global chip service since im visiting 21 countries over the course of 6 mo. In most of the countires i will be in it will cost 35 cents a minute for my wife to call me. The rates outgoing very from country to country. Im not trying to promote go-sim. Im just stating what my phone setup is as well as planned usage to save others the weeks of research i did. I found this to be the best setup for world travel. I believe if u are just visiting 1 country then u may be better off buying a sim card in that country. If u are buying this phone to use in the us and are hoping it is just like the iphone then i think this isn't for you. There is no software to sync to outlook or any software. I am still experimenting with the ringtones etc. When i hook it up using usb to computer it shows up as an external harddrive thats it. I tried transfering pictures i took with my canon 40d to it. it transfers fine but i cant view it on the phone says file is to big. I will try to resolve that as well. If u have resolutions to these problems please feel free to add to this post

i found out there is more to using it with at&t then just plug it in. you have to set up the mms protocol and the internet as well. i found out how to do that by searching the net. At this point i have internet, voicemail, im, mms,
sms, and custome ringtones working

| You have to set up those things on most phones that you don't get from a specific carrier. There are so many carriers out there, its not possible for them to know which ones will need to be programmed into the phone.
